Would home builders profit more by building homes with a hubby house in the back?
Posted on Jan 08, 2009 under xn--zqqs84h3is.com | editI believe this would be a good asset to lowering the divorce rate.
It is a wonderful place full of tools and car parts. Heck there is a Porsche
which I've had to leave disassembled for two years just to get an excuse to spend time there.
Lawn chairs, loud old stereo ( "What's that? I can't hear you the radio is too loud!") coolers with beverages, more power tools and room for 4 cars.
Its a bit of my own private garagemahal.
Very peaceful.
I had to put a stop to the garage sales. My wife kept trying to sell my toolbox and it was too hard to deal with the guys being dragged around to garage sales and all that drooling and garage envy.
Now the only trick will be to get heat and that 50" flat screen with surround sound and stadium seating.
Our house is about 900 sq. ft and the garage is about 2500 sq.ft. just the reverse of our now upscale neighborhood. Guys will bid a lot higher for our property than the rest of the houses
which only have a garage ( man house) which only fits the minivan and lawnmower so YES, it would raise construction profits.
Great Idea.
