Women: Do you think tattoos/piercings are attractive?

  • I've just been wondering about this because i've gotten mixed reviews about myself. I have 3 tattoos, all visible while wearing a t shirt. As for piercings, i get stared at in public. I've got 3 on my bottom lip, my tongue, my ears gauged, an industrial and my eyebrow. I've been told they look fine on me because i dont look like a grungy goth guy, I actually dress preppy which people think is weird. Anyway, tattoos and piercings...yay or nay?

  • Personally too many tattoo's and too many piercings look bizarre to me. I think three tattoos aren't too many, depending on just how big they are. I don't like the idea of kissing someone with three lip piercings, but that's just me. So I guess I'm going to say, nay.


  • Personally, I'm not a big fan of piercings. Ears are fine labret is okay and that's about where that stops.

    Tattoos I enjoy. It has a lot to do with what the tattoo is actually of also. If you have some raunchy naked chick on your arm, not many are gonna like it. But maybe if you had a pin-up girl then that's a little more tasteful. There's nothing wrong with body modification, just sometimes it gets taken a little to far.

    Other then some piercings I particularly don't care for I don't see anything to be a problem, but then again I don't know how it looks on you.

  • I hate tattoos and I only like piercings on a dude if there are a couple of snakebites/one eyebrow piercing/2 or 3 lip rings


  • I have tattoos on both arms and only my left ear is pierced.
    On girls...I think a tattoo on their ankle or the one that they get just above their butt is sexy and more than enough. Pierced ears are enough and all that other stuff is not cool or attractive in any way.

  • I think tattoos and piercings are attractive. Everyone has their preferences, so no...not everyone is going to find that attractive, but if a person wouldn't date you because of the ink on your body and the holes in your face, then I feel they are shallow and you don't need them anyway. I don't like when a person overdoes it, like when their whole body is covered in tattoos and piercings, but I have a thing for facial piercings myself...I have my nose done, my labret and my tongue...I wanted to get two more in my tongue and do the mohawk effect but I haven't gotten to it...I also have my ears pierced and want to do an industrial. I was also going to do my eyebrow, but I have fake eyebrows and it just wouldn't work and would be too much of a hassle...and I plan on starting on my tattoos soon, not many, but I plan on a few. ;]
    But it doesn't matter what people think, just be yourself...if you try to conform to what others think is acceptable then you're not being true to yourself, and a person should like you for who you are in the first place.

    tattoos that u can see are absurd, and immature.
    any piercings on ur face is just ruining ur face... a lot! even if u think it looks good, why r u doing it? it looks weird and totally unnecessary.
