What breed of spider is this?

  • I was crawling under my house when I found alot of dead spiders, then I found a live one the other day in my house. It is very small(maybe 1/4 inch) and has a light brown body. The back end of it had a small white or yellowish sack (ball) on it. Thanks for the help, just curious.

  • If it was dragging a beige sack behind it, it was most likely a female wolf spider (family Lycosa). Wolf spiders are the only spiders that drag their eggsacks behind them, attached to their spinnerets. All other ground spiders that carry their eggsacks with them carry them with the pedipalps and fangs, underneath the body.

  • sounds like a 'sac spider' or 'wolf spider'.both are completely
    harmless to humans.

  • its carying a sck of hatchlings

DONT KILL IT. the eggs with then go everywhere, and then in a few months you will have soooo many spiders. I couldnt tell ya what breed it is, but i just wnated to to tell you to capture it and put it outside, rather then squising it in your house.
