No wonder we have so many homeless dogs out there!
P.S I'm not pointing fingers at anyone...there are good breeders.
What are your opinions on this??
A few of us do want to breed our dogs but are willing to put in the time and money to learn how to do it properly and find a mentor as I was advised to do ans have now done even though I won't be breeding my dog for another year or so.
There are just as many, if not more, uneducated people buying these puppies.
Too much at risk, not to mention I found later that my dog had genetic problems! I did not want that on my conscious!!! Although the stud's owner still wanted to breed... I was furious! Even though I told her my dog had genetic problems....
p.s. Beautiful dog in your avatar!! An aussie?
One time there was a kid who had a mutt litter and one puppy had a broken neck. We found this out in the same question when she asked how much tickets to a theme park were. Of course there was no money to take the pups to a vet for anything routine, like shots, deworming, flea control...let alone a broken neck. But her question included what should the asking price for lab/shar-pei mix pups be. Then of course we were all mean, rotten bastards for telling her the vet was essential for the broken-necked pup and the rest of the litter needed attention too.
iv been on here for so long! i learn to ignore those. I mean i think i have answered about 1,000 'how do i breed my dog' questions. Watch after a few months on here you will notice how many of the same questions pop up a day! lol.
