The Red Head at YYZ MLL
Posted on Jan 09, 2009 under xn--zqqs84h3is.com | editMaybe someone could print this thread and show it to her next time.
Perhaps we can shuffle her off to Buffalo,
and the airline of FlyerAl. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
Can you imagine how hard it will be for anyone whom has read this thread to see her next time? Yes, she could well continue in her brooding ways but I will not be able to hold back my laughter upon the next encounter.
In fact, people don't need FT Tags on their bags to identify them to another member. I am just going to sit at the front desk and when I see someone giggling away while she looks at the boarding pass, I will be able to introduce myself.
Maybe they could put her in cargo or something?
Great idea! Where should we ship her! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I did not say a word to antagonise her (in fact kept my mouth shut!)
Why not? It'll be fun! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
She is unmistakable - flowing red tresses and HUGE (I mean gargantuan) red rimmed glasses.
She is a real 'piece of work' as they say in the classics. I have been using that lounge (yes, the transborder one) regularly for the last 5 years and have NOT ONCE seen her smile, behave in a welcoming manner or in any way assume the demeanor of a graceful host.
I think she sees herself as a gatekeeper to her own personal domain. She is the absolute antithesis of what Air Canada should have at the desk at that lounge.
This morning I asked her to take care of a small routine detail for me for me and she looked at me as if I was nuts. It was a perfectly normal and everyday function that she completely botched. I did not say a word to antagonise her (in fact kept my mouth shut!) but the mean-spirited way in which she conducted herself was a disgrace.
It matters not if you a SE (which I am), E, or whatever ... it's the same crappy look.
Air Canada ... c'mon, please do something!
I'm sure we could sell tickets.
I'd buy a ticket.
We should organize a get together in the transborder MLL then we line up one by one and make stupid requests until she blows up... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
ROFL!
While I can sympathize with those who have "suffered", the constructive thing to do is to write letters to AC with specific details about your complaints with respect to attitude and service.

I'd be willing to take an AC transborder flight for the sole purpose of partaking in this fun. If anyone can cause someone to have a nervous breakdown, it's me http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Smiles are often contagious even to the most dour sourpusses.
Well, I'll be transitting YYZ on my way to ORD in a week and a half, and you just know I'm the guy to light a fire.
As long as you do not start out by telling her "c'mon baby light my fire!" http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I kid you not ... you have to experience this to believe it! One look and you'll realize she is not one to toy with !!!!
But I will say I'd love to see it happen! Perhaps next time you're in YYZ we can set something up! I'm sure we could sell tickets.
... enjoy! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
In my experience, writing to AC does have an effect, even if you don't get everything you want.
