Skipping duration settings?

the values are too high for my taste in the present build.

would it be easy enough to add the possibility of having personal settings for the skipping timevalues in future xbmc builds? i would love to set the values in (milli)seconds..

you'll need to add it to keymap.xml. the value is located in the settings.xml file within tdata if you wish to change it (default is 7 seconds)
otherwise, they're hardcoded in as percentages of the length of the movie. 1% and 10% respectively.
