  • I buy books all the time. And I figured I'd let my aunt pick the book out.
Like I have 20.000 leagues under the sea the best book ever.

  • I don't see why not.. would you please read this.

  • You sound like a great niece! I don't think you could have chosen a better gift than to spend time w/ her while reading. I would suggest you choose a book where there's more than a little dialogue so you can take turns being the characters. Or, did she ever give you a book when you were little that you could reread for nostalgia? What about a fun book--there are so many out there about dogs you might want to check out. There's also one about a cat that is getting rave reviews. Sorry I don't remember the title & I just saw it @ Borders tonight.

You should call your aunt & tell her what you want to do. She may have other plans & I know you'd hate to disappoint the other.

Again, your parents should be proud of you. I've asked my adult son to spend just one day--or part of it--w/ me & it still hasn't happened. I envy your aunt.

  • bring it with you to read on the way there and bring a book to read at her house
