Question regarding a Flash intro.
Posted on Jan 08, 2009 under xn--zqqs84h3is.com | editMy questions might seem very obvious to those of you who know anything about Flash. However, I am a complete noob at this. :smack:
We want to create a Flash intro for our site. Is there a way to detect if the clients browser has a Flash plug-in installed. If it is not installed, then we want to display a regular static version of this page. We are trying to avoid having "click here for a flash version" and "click here for HTML version" type of links. Can this detection be done automatically? Does it involve a lot of coding?
Thank you very much for any suggestions!

Head of to macromedia site for the code, or
use google it, or search threads..I remember, (not sure which one) someone asking same questions and the codes was given.
Thank you!! Do you know if it is also going to work for Netscape?
