I may have mentioned that I'm a member of NFO's online consumer research panel. They ask people like us for opinions about existing products and services and about products under development via online surveys. Then they give the feedback to businesses. I managed to get in on an ongoing survey. Every month, I take like 5 minutes to answer questions, and they give me 75 points/month for it. This is in addition to the other surveys I do.
so I'm confident that its not like AhMoola that never came through w/ promised payments.
Just to vouch for this program, NFO Interactive DOES pay out. Granted it may take a while to earn 1,000 points, but on occasion they do offer surveys for 400-900 points. NFO was prompt to send a check. It took no more than 3 weeks from the time I requested the check until I receieved the check in the mail.

Cashing out at $10 every time you reach 1000 points is definitely the smartest thing to do, unless you want to spend your points for raffle tickets. Their gift certificate prizes are all worth the same as the cash, and their other prizes are overpriced... you'd be better off getting the cash and buying those prizes elsewhere. The cash is definitely nice, though, and they send the checks fairly quickly (typically within 2 weeks after the request). There's not much point in keeping a balance larger than 1000 points since you don't get a "savings" for higher redemption values.
I quite like NFO, they send high-point surveys a few times a year (sometimes more than others), and their website is reliable. I've never had any payout issues with them.

My point balance stands at 6,455 (once I reach 7K I can request a check to be mailed to me for $70).
I've been satified w/ the surveys- you really get to put in feedback that could actually influence real products.
