Deafblind Education

Dear Visitors,

Welcome. The Intervention Professional Network is a small group of sites and articles, a forum and a chat room. These pages focus on providing information to intervenors about working with individuals who are congenitally deafblind, or individuals who have acquired deafblindness and utilize some congenital strategies (I.E. an individual who has an acquired brain injury). Although the network may be used to exchange any ideas about intervention, the network is committed to providing materials focusing on individuals who are deafblind with additional disabilities that make beginning communication a challenge.

I hope this network will serve as a meeting place where intervenors can exchange ideas about the philosophy of intervention around the world.

Thank you for visiting,

Niall Brown
