BJS-YVR Resumes early Aug? Sold out?
Posted on Jan 08, 2009 under xn--zqqs84h3is.com | editAug 6 and 8 are only days showing some seats in Y cabin until mid-September. This sounds like flights that aren't really flying but J/C is not zeroed out so just wondering what is going on . . .?
Flights from HKG are not so heavily booked.
Is BJS-YVR really sold out through all of August. They show only a couple of days with some Y (H etc.) inventory, the rest of the Y cabin shows 0 everyday, 6 days a week, even though they are only flying 4? days a week. It's operating. Going back to daily starting on Aug 1 (with the exception of a few days). I see most of those dates are way oversold at this point already.
I'm getting flights booked for SHA?? and it seems to be the same airport?

BB, are u referring to PEK?
UGH the flights from YVR to Shanghai are wide open... AC cut back YYZ YVR and not added flights?? ALSO why put a seat sale on with no inventory?
There have been no cutbacks in YYZ/YVR flights. The PVG/YVR flight is way oversold now and not even open for sale, I don't know why you would say it's wide open. (YVR/PVG is not wide open as well based on what I know)
I will check again tomorrow the Agent said I could have any day from YVR from Aug 13 to the 20th YIKES, I somehow am sure you will be correct.

In order for Chinese citizens to get a visa to come to Canada they have to have a confirmed airline reservation. So somtimes people will have booked 4 or 5 different days as they don't know when their visa will come through. It is not uncommon for a flight to show oversold by 60 in economy then suddenly show 30-40 seats open a few days before departure because the reservations have been cancelled because they did not receive their visa.
Maybe the RedArmy is launching an invasion of Vancouver, to reclaim it for the Maoist destiny?
Are you organizing the nieghbourhood committies for them? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
