The Middle verse in chapter (8) of the Old Testament says: And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
The Middle verse in chapter (8) of the New Testament says: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. However, Esaias did not say that in the Old Testament!
The Middle verse in chapter (8) of the Noble Quran says: say to the unbelievers that if they abandon their ways he will forgive them what is past; but, if they return, that was indeed the way of their forefathers who have passed away.

This verse gives a merciful chance for the unbeliever abandon their ways so that Allah will forgive them.
Also, the verse encourages us to read the history to know what happened to the unbelievers throughout the history!
